Amy (Gilleand) Bryant

Amy Gilleand Bryant, age 40, of Mt Vernon, Ky, passed away Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, at U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

Amy was born January 6th, 1986, in Mishawaka, IN, and was a daughter of Gene Gilleand and Jacqueline Gleissner. On July 25th, 2013, she married Brandon Bryant.

Amy was a manager at the Dollar General store at Quail and she was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed Camping, going on vacations, working at the Dollar store, visiting with friends and neighbors, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Amy is survived by her husband: Brandon Bryant, her son: Myles Bryant, her parents; Gene Gilleand and Jacqueline Gleisnner, her brother: James Gleissner II of Brodhead, her sisters; Ashley Carter of Brodhead, Rica Stephens of Berea, Rachel Taylor (Jordan) of Livingston, brother in law: Brett Bryant (Haleigh Wilson), mother in law: Karen Bryant, Father in law: Steve Bryant, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Amy will be Saturday, February 14th, 2026, from 11am to 1pm at Owens Chapel, Funeral service will begin at 1pm with  Rev Dr. Alfredo Bascualdo Officiating. Burial will follow in Maret Cemetery.
